About me pre-Mama?
Oh, I was all about my running and hitting the gym for strength training! I trained 4-6 times per week. I had Sunday naps because Saturdays were always spent with friends or with hubby in the city! We were foodies. Give us all the best restaurants in Sydney. We couldn't get enough.
I was also off dancing with girlfriends (RnB was our jam). I used to collect handbags and blingy watches. I had a wardrobe teeming with dresses! My house was so clean! Dinner was mostly unplanned, but always healthy. Our biggest stress was deciding where we should go on our annual overseas holiday! Movies. We used to go to the movies! I needed 9 hours of sleep to feel my best, and it used to take me 90 minutes to get ready to go anywhere.

About me now as a Mama?
As a mum of boys, I've found my inner tomboy, and I'm loving it! My poor heels never get their moment because they've taken the backseat to sneakers! Give me cool kicks everyday!
I am always with my boys. What kind of mum am I??? I'm an attachment mama, extended breastfeeding mama, co-sleeping mama, placenta encapsulating mama (BEST thing everrrr). Like most mamas, I haven't slept through the night in... years!!!! I love coffee #PraiseTheCoffee and smoothies are essential for getting all my necessary vitamins and nutrients because food prep is very difficult at the moment. My days are full on. I don't know the last time I had an uninterrupted conversation with my friends (or even my husband). I am exhausted, but my heart is full with love and ambition! At night, I basically face plant my pillow, and I fall asleep in seconds (I used to struggle to fall asleep) knowing I'll be woken at least 3 times each night, but prepared to wake up to 6 times!!! Anyone else feel me?

What is one thing since becoming a Mama has taught you about yourself?
I am tough like a MOTHER! Physically and mentally. There is nothing that I can't overcome or achieve with my children as my motivation. They have graced me with superpowers. #ThanksKids

What is your advice to a first time, Mama?
Don't waste time trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. This is your new life. Embrace it!

What are your top 5 essentials for today’s modern day Mama?
1. Soak up all the cuddles. You can't spoil a baby with too much love.
2. Invest in a great pram!! I'm team bugaboo all the way.
3. Get outside - even if you look like a hot mess. Fresh air is good for the soul.
4. Don't feel guilty about being a mama and seeing your friends less (the good ones will still be there when you're ready).
5. Find time for little acts of self care - an uninterrupted shower, a brow wax, a walk outside on your own, sitting in silence for 5 minutes. It doesn't have to be a big deal.

Where are your favorite family-friendly places to eat and kick it in Sydney?
Honestly, we love our hometown of Camden. We have amazing coffee here and the local produce is sensational! We love to support local.

What are you passionate about?
I'm passionate about gentle mothering. I'm passionate about marriage and family life. I'm passionate about inspiring other mothers to be the kind of mother they want to be, and I want to lead mothers in creating the business they want to create for themselves. I want to make a difference in their lives, and I want to inspire my boys to want to live a life where their passion meets purpose.

What are your tips for balancing a business, motherhood and ‘me-time’?
I don't believe in balance. I think it's an ideal people chase that doesn't exist. Balance implies that everything is equal or even. No two days are ever the same around here. To me, flexibility is more important. That being said, I think we all have things that makes us happy and fills our cup. We need to be self aware enough to know what these little things (or big things) are and we have to have enough self love and self worth to prioritise making these things happen. I'm personally working on ditching the emotion of guilt. It's pointless and serves no one. Like everyone, I'm a work in progress.

What was your Ah-ha moment for wanting to start Mums With Hustle?
I realised that I had skills where my passion met my purpose! I knew what I wanted to create a community of mamas I related to, and I just went for it. I wholeheartedly back myself!

Who are your influencers?
Oh, I have a few entrepreneurs and thought leaders I admire: Pat Flynn, Amy Porterfield, Yaro Starak, Brene Brown, Nelson Mandela, Oprah Winfrey, Mother Teresa

What’s coming up for you and where can we find you?
I've just made learning Instagram strategy even easier for my tribe of bizmums with my latest series of informative and actionable ebooks! We also now offer Instagram audits which basically provide you with an in depth report on your current use of Instagram as well as suggestions for improvement. Finally, I'm almost finished building something epic that will help foster and strengthen our community (can't say too much but you will totally want IN!).
